ASD Real Wedding- A Canadian Autumn Red and Black Wedding

Tanya from Canada loves big, over-the-top, glitz and glam and wanted that reflected in her wedding. What better way than to start with a color combination of classic colors, black and red.
She contacted me thru Etsy and asked me to make a cascading bridal bouquet that reflected her personality and style.
I thought I would share a few of the images that she recently shared with me from her wedding, including the bridal bouquet that I created for her.

First, an image of Tanya and her gals on the wedding day.
The bridesmaid’s wore sleveless black dresses, black gloves, black tights and black shoes. Their glitz and glam? Shiny, rhinestone bracelet’s and 8-10 strand layered pearl necklaces.

Now, take a look at Tanya! Her necklace & veil came from, none other than Etsy of course!
I created her bridal bouquet with the center done in White Calla Lillies surrounded by white open roses and white stephanotis with pearl centers. Sprays of pearls and crystals were mixed into the bouquet with a cascade of all white flowers.

Here’s another look at one of her bridesmaid’s and the bouquet- the bridesmaid’s carried a bundle of all red roses and the groomsmen wore a single red rose.

One last picture to share! What a great image of Tanya with her girls… having fun on her wedding day. That’s what it’s all about!

ASD Real Wedding-A Navy, Pink and Gold Beach Wedding

Jennifer is all about the details. Reminds me of someone else I know… hmmm.
She convo’d me thru etsy (for those of you that aren’t hip to the Etsy lingo yet- that means she contacted me) and asked me to create a floral monogram letter for her beach wedding in Virginia. On top of that, she agreed to let me share some of the fabulous details that she used at her wedding. Their photographer, Sam Ellis, took some fun pictures of them on the boardwalk after their wedding. Hey, the day wouldn’t be complete without a game of skee-ball in your wedding duds right! In any case, after rifling thru a few hundred images (I reluctently couldn’t share all of them with you) I decided on a few that I feel really captured the details from Jennifer and Aaron’s wedding day.

First, the happy couple, the dress is to-die-for and the sky- perfect shade of blue!

You know I always call out my favorite and Jennifer’s shoes and purse are it.. hands down, my favorite detail from the day! I know, I know… what about my monogram letter? Well, ok, it’s a tie!
Once you see the dress in more detail you will see how well the purse matched the dress and those shoes… so elegant! And no, the purse was not purchased with the dress. It was an Etsy find- I’m tellin you… Etsy is the place to be!

Jennifer’s bouquet’s consited of white dahlias, roses and ranunculus flowers. The bridesmaid’s carried a smaller bouquet identical to Jennifer’s with a mix of pinks and a pop of red.

Guests were greeted at the reception, which was held at Salero in Rehoboth Beach, DE, by a box filled of white and pink crystals holding their placecards. Attached to each tented placecard was a starfish, a reference to the beach, where their ceremony was held.

Now for my next favorite detail! The monogram “C” that I made for the couples table. Covered on all sides by hot pink carnations to signify the unity of the couples new last name.

I wanted to include another picture of Jennifer and Aaron at their table with the “C”. What a great photo op and that view….

What do you think about this three-tiered wedding card box cake- made by the brides’ sisters! The boxes were accented with gold at the base of each layer, hot pink scrolls and their monogram. Notice the real shells placed on each tier and the cute beach basket in the background to hold extras. Love how creative her sister’s were by pulling in all aspects of the wedding when designing the “cake” wedding card box. Simply said… Lovely.

Now… on to the real cake! YUMMY!

How creative and unique is this guest favor? A treasure chest filled with the best treasures of all… candy! Including taffy (anyother tie-in to the beach theme), rock candy and swirled candy on a stick.

Don’t you just love all of the stylish details from this wedding!

So what do you think? I just love the thought and inspiration that went into the details for this wedding. It definitely makes a wedding, simply said, one of a kind.

Real Wedding-A Fall Collage of Red, Orange and Yellow

Anna found me on Etsy and asked me to make her ring-bearer pillow. She graciously agreed to share a few images of the details from her gorgeous Pennsylvania fall wedding with me and of course, all of you!
Her photographer, the talented Michelle Allmon, aka Redheaded Ninja, captured the richness of the season that was displayed throughout Anna & Ben’s details. Love the colors and the flowers-I’m a sucker for a fall wedding though : )

First and foremost, for me what set the tone for this wedding was the flower’s.
Long Lane Flower’s created a beautiful arrangement for Anna, with a mix of dahlia’s, mums and berries.

And here’s another view of the bouquet’s. I love the “pepper’s”… I know they aren’t real peppers… or are they? Hmmmm….

Look at this handsome little man! He’s carrying a ivory satin ring-bearer pillow with a peachy-orange dahlia bloom- created by none other than your’s truly found on my Etsy store!

The bridesmaid’s got a splash of color to their dresses by adding these wraps/pashminas in shades of yellow and orange, that the bride bought from a street vendor in NYC! You never know when or where you’ll find something fabulous right!

Check out Anna’s “peek” of color she added…love the open-toe’d yellow shoes and the brown dots around the edge to boot!

This simple centerpiece add’s just the right touch to the reception tables with a mix of wildflower autumn accents and mums in various shades of warm oranges, yellows and greens. The table number printed on orange paper, mounted on cardstock reflects the elegance and richness of this autumn wedding.

This cake is so beautiful. Nothing over the top, simple and bursting with color. Check out the serving set too.. not sure if you can see it well but the handles are wrapped with black wire autumn colored glass beads- another Etsy find!

I kept the best for last, at least for me of course! The favor’s…what better fitting for this fall themed wedding than caramel apples, covered in crushed nuts, complete with a maple leaf tag. Yummy!
